Is it possible to connect Velixo to a local instance of Acumatica? I believe it is but I get weird results.
Firstly, the Connection Manager is auto replacing http://localhost/ with https://localhost/ but my local server is not https so I then get an error message "That doesn't look like a valid Acumatica website; to troubleshoot, try opening that address in a browser". I of course am able to open the site without using secured http in my browser so not sure why Velixo won't allow http for a local server?
If you are using Excel for Windows and it is absolutely necessary to use a non-secure connection, Velixo Classic can be used to do this.
Note: you may be able to use something such as LetsEncrypt to add HTTPS to your localhost.

Thanks very much for your help. Quite informative. I had previously found on the Acumatica community a script to update a local instance to https but I found that 3rd parties still did not recognize it as https. I'll switch to classic but will also look at LetsEncrypt.

Hi Brian.
Yes, it is possible. It sounds like you are using Velixo NX - which requires a secure connection.
If you are using Excel for Windows and it is absolutely necessary to use a non-secure connection, Velixo Classic can be used to do this.
Note: you may be able to use something such as LetsEncrypt to add HTTPS to your localhost.
