Installing the Customization Package for Acumatica-based ERPs

Important: The customization package has been updated for version 2023 R1 and 2023 R2. If you currently use one of these versions or are planning to upgrade, you will want to make sure you upgrade your version of customization package.
Note: This feature is supported by Acumatica 2020 R1 and newer and requires Administrator rights to install in your ERP. We highly recommend you coordinate this step with your ERP consultant to avoid accidentally unpublishing other existing projects.

Overview
Velixo provides a customization package to facilitate the configuration process for system administrators. This package is required for certain Velixo features, such as SSO and General Inquiries functions. The package includes the Velixo Connected Application Configuration required for:

Downloading and installing the latest Customization Package
The customization must be published in every Tenant that will be accessed from Velixo. This is done from the Acumatica Customization Projects page:

New Version of the Customization Project
When your version of Velixo requires a newer version of the customization package than is currently published, an informational message will be displayed when a connection is made to the data. You will then have the option to download the latest version of the project.
Using an older version of the Acumatica package will not prevent Velixo from working, but you will not have access to the latest features included in the new version of the package.
