🚀 New:

We’re happy to announce new milestones in the Sage Intacct integration, including three new Velixo NX functions, two new Construction Templates, and an early release of our Nonprofit Templates solution.

• We have now added the SI.WRITEBACKWIP function which grants you the ability to write information related to Project WIP Schedules to Sage Intacct (under the hood: WIP periods and projects, which can only be read with the new SI.XQUERY function).
  This new functionality allows updating PM and/or CFO values (such as Forecasted Cost to Complete, Forecasted Cost at Completion, and Contract value) that you can see on the WIP Schedules screen of Sage Intacct. (RD-1869)

• The new SI.EXPANDUDDVALUERANGE function lets users return values from a Sage Intacct user-defined dimension (UDD). It can then be used for UDD filtering in other functions like SI.EXPANDGLHISTORY. (RD-2813)

• You can now use the SI.UDDVALUEID function to find UDD value IDs for use with functions like SI.QUERY or SI.WRITEBACK instead of searching manually in Sage Intacct. (RD-2864)

• Sending emails during report distribution should now work even if the Microsoft Outlook desktop app is not installed on your computer, as long as your Microsoft 365 account has a valid Outlook email address and license. Under the hood, Velixo will use the Microsoft Graph API to send emails. (RD-1066)

• New Construction Templates - if you are licensed for the Construction Templates solution as a customer or partner, you will now have access to these new report templates:

  • SI-CRE-FC20 Project Cost Forecasting - Budget Allocation to forecast the remaining costs of a project over its timeline, at the cost code granularity, using a variety of distribution methods including: Front-Loaded Curve, Bell-Curve, Back-Loaded Curve, Linear or by manually inputting values.

  • SI-CRE-FC-19 - Cost To Complete (Amount) by Cost type to vary and estimate the cost at completion of a project and create new Forecast Project estimates and Budget entries in Sage Intacct. This new version supports reporting and writing back at the cost code and cost type levels.

• Early release of a new Velixo Nonprofit Templates solution - we are finalizing the development of a new Sage Intacct Nonprofit Templates solution, and we are now opening it to 5 early adopters. As we finalize this new solution, your real-life testing and feedback are really critical to our success. ✨ Improved:

• You can now apply filtering techniques to User Defined Dimensions in balance functions in the same way as for predefined dimensions. (RD-2845)

• The SI.XQUERY function now works faster as it now supports smart refresh. (RD-2409)

• The new WritebackLocationID parameter in the SI.WRITEBACKJOURNAL function now lets you write to entity-private journals without using entity-private dimensions. (RD-2583)

• You can now post to statistical accounts using the SI.WRITEBACKJOURNAL function. (RD-2643)

• We have slightly changed parameter names to make them consistent across the product. It doesn’t affect the functionality - even if the word Range disappeared from the parameter name, it still accepts ranges. (RD-855)

🔨 Fixed:

• The LineAllocationSettings argument in the SI.WRITEBACKJOURNAL function referring to an empty cell no longer results in an error message and is treated as if the argument was omitted. (RD-2700)

• Fixed a bug preventing sorting in descending and ascending order in the SI.XQUERY function from working as expected. (RD-3088)

• Fixed an issue causing SI.QUERY and  SI.XQUERY functions to sort the same results differently. (RD-2923)

• Running a Distribution where the Attachment argument contains special characters doesn’t halt the Distribution process anymore. (RD-2780)

• The SI.WRITEBACKJOURNAL function no longer fails when the LineAllocationSettings argument is used to create custom allocations for a line. (RD-2872)

• Made several improvements and fixed inconsistencies in every AR and AP Aging Report template (SI-AR-RT10 AR Aging Summary by Customers, SI-CRE-RT13 AR Aging Summary by Customers with Retainage, SI-AP-RT11 AP Aging Summary by Vendors, and SI-CRE-RT12 AP Aging Summary by Vendors with Retainage) - No more Period filter, new Control sheet and Advances data is now aligned with Posting dates to ensure that users can both match with the aging report of Sage and reconcile with the GL.

🐛 Known issues:

• A troubleshooting guide is now available for scenarios where Sage Intacct settings prevent Microsoft Single Sign-On from working with the Velixo Add-in. (RD-3045)

• A guide is now available for users who do not wish for “null” to be visible in their workbook when the SI.EXPANDGLHISTORY function is returning empty dimension values. (RD-2614)
