Object fields present in Acumatica cannot be used with ACU.QUERY and ACU.OBJECTDEFINITION

Overview

Using ACU.QUERY or ACU.OBJECTDEFINITION to query an object field that is present in the Acumatica DAC Schema Browser results in a #VALUE! error.

Cause

This behavior is typically linked to feature configuration in Acumatica. Fields associated with specific features are hidden from the OData schema if the required feature is disabled in your instance.

Resolution

Follow these steps in your Acumatica environment to resolve the issue:

Navigate to Features
- Go to Enable/Disable Features (screen ID: CS100000).
- Click the MODIFY button.
Enable the Required Feature:
- Identify the feature(s) related to the object(s) you are querying.
- Ensure the checkbox is selected.
- Click Enable, then allow the system to complete the configuration update.
Click Refresh → Current sheet in the Velixo NX menu in Excel.
Your query should now return results as expected.
