When connecting to your ERP system, you may see a message similar to the following:

❗ Velixo Insider Upgrade - September 2023

The Velixo Insider update released on the 25 September 2023 has introduced support for retrieving GL balances using the master financial calendar.  In this version of the product, additional inquiries need to be set up.

The following new inquiries have been added to the product:

  1. VelixoReportsPro-FinPeriodsV2 (required)
  2. VelixoReportsPro-GLHistoryMaster (optional, only to use the Master Financial Calendar functionality)
  3. VelixoReportsPro-GLHistoryLastActivityMaster (optional, only to use the Master Financial Calendar functionality)
  4. VelixoReportsPro-PMHistoryMaster (optional, only to use the Master Financial Calendar functionality)


If your ERP user account does not have sufficient access rights to create the new inquiries, an ERP administrator can right-click each of the below links and select "Save Link As" to save the files and then import them to the ERP system:

Reverting back to the previous version of Velixo Classic

As a last resort, if configurations of the new required inquiries is not possible, you can uninstall Velixo Classic and install the previous version that did not depend on the aforementioned inquiries. Click here to download the previous version of Velixo Classic Insider.

Possible cause 1

If you see this message immediately after updating Velixo, it is displayed because the updated version of Velixo Reports includes new functionality that depends on a not-yet-configured generic inquiry in Acumatica.


In this scenario, the resolution section below is recommended but not urgent, ? you can continue to use Velixo and Excel regardless of whether you click "Yes" or "No".


Possible cause 2

If you see this message "out of the blue" without updating Velixo, it may be the case that someone inadvertently deleted one of the Generic inquiries used by Velixo from Acumatica. 


In this rare scenario, it is recommended to proceed with the resolution below as soon as possible.



By default, we recommend you to click "Yes" and let Velixo configure the missing inquiries. 


In case this process ends with an error, it may mean your Acumatica user doesn't have the necessary access rights to configure new inquiries in the system. In this case, try following the troubleshooting steps here.
