Overview
In some cases, when a Velixo report is used to retrieve balances from the ERP's Project Module, it is possible for those balances to not match the combined total of the project's underlying transactions.
Potential Resolutions
Recalculate Project Balances
While most situations that can cause this were addressed by Acumatica (case #AC-213757) in 2020R2 Update 18 and 2021R1 Update 16, in some cases, we may still need to validate the project balances by having the system recalculate them, thus bringing them in line with the information in those underlying transactions.
The version of your ERP will determine where this is done.
In current versions of Acumatica, navigate to the Recalculate Project Balances page (the checkbox for Recalculate Project Balances should already be checked) and select PROCESS ALL:
or, in older versions, navigate to the Validate Project Balances page and select VALIDATE ALL:

Project Budget: Recalculation of the Project Balances
Project includes currency-specific data
It is also possible for a project to contain currency-specific data that must, in turn, be retrieved in a currency-specific manner.
Let's consider an example to demonstrate this.
Here we have a project there the General Change Request task and the Scope Change task both have balances under the Revised Budgeted Amount column:
In this particular situation, the project uses a currency that is different from that used in the ERP tenant - and the amount for the Scope Change task has been recorded under the Project's currency:
So, when we retrieve the data using a Velixo function, we need to explicitly set the UseProjectCurrency parameter to TRUE to get the expected revised budget amount:
